Hair o the dog, wot wot?
So here we are, in a new car again. I was not expecting to be here so soon, but such is life.
The appraiser, as I may have mentioned, was … overly generous. That let me put an entirely new down payment on a car, and damn it, I missed my 3. So I went back to the amazing and friendly Audrey over at Suburban Mazda (in Farmington Hills), and she tried to offer me her own X-plan. Seriously. However, thanks to one of my dear friends who shall remain nameless unless outed, hehe, I had my own.
State Auto is a great insurance plan in many ways, but the rep I dealt with was trying to pull a fast one, and was a bit stupid, as well. She almost had me convinced that my rental coverage ended the minute they gave me a monetary award, rather than 30 days. Also (and this was such a hassle), she sent the check to my mom’s address, meaning I had to rush all over the place in the hour before picking up my car.
Anyway, I’m glad it is done, and I hope I don’t have to do it again for years.
Now I have to rush off to work, where I have plenty of actual “work” (don’t worry, nothing I enjoy) that needs to get accomplished now that I’m not obsessed with “Real Life”.
OH! Also, I couldn’t resist. I bought Boom Blox. :D And beat about 75% of the single player last night. Hehe. It’s fun, go try it!

I really want that game, now.
Nice car! I’m sorry that you had to go through all that but at least you were well compensated. *HUGS*
Yeah, familiar innit? :D *big hugs*
I love that damn game. I am blowing off work, heading to your house, climbing in through a window, and playing all day :P
Jer! Did you forget that we have it too? And you wouldn’t have to commit B&E to play either. Oh, wait…that was probably part of the appeal…never mind. *g*
It was all about the B&E! You can join me.. I need a lookout :)
I would so do that with you. *g*
Uh, guys? First of all, B&E wouldn’t work – Reggie is watching my only real window, and he is fierce!
Also, Lucy’s home from work today. ;)
Can we a least wear ski masks and sneak up on her? That would be hot.
You can do that, but I should warn you, she’s been horseback riding and jogging for the past year – if she kicks you ’cause she thinks you’re a miscreant, I will not take responsibility for the location of your spleen.
:)
I’ll just be sure to let Jer go in first. *g*
A wise idea!
As I said to Sheryl:
Uh, guys? First of all, B&E wouldn’t work – Reggie is watching my only real window, and he is fierce!
Also, Lucy’s home from work today. ;)
Ahh, the Reggie thing could be a problem. I might have to bring a Basil plant to get amorous with him as a distraction… although going over to play with Lucy would solve the whole problem… Hrmm. :)
Your new “baby” is very beautiful. Congratulations on a successful delivery.
Thanks! It was, indeed, a bit painful.
Yay! Congrats on the sweet new car. :)
Thanks!
weee! or perhaps “zooom, zoom”
Heh, either way.
Congrats on getting through that relatively unscathed. Insurance had definite benefits but it’s also such a hassle.
Also: shiny! :)
Thanky! Things could have been so much worse, it’s true.
Liking the car!! Sexy. *rawr*
lol
*grins* Just like me! Er…
Actually, that’s exactly what I meant. :D
You’re perty perty!
It wasn’t me! (Although I wish I could take credit. — My dad is theoretically still looking into it.)
Anyway, congrats! :)
