You would think “War Pigs” would be awesome at karaoke, but there is like a five minute solo in the middle during which you either have to stand around doing nothing, bust a dance move, or give a monologue.
It is definitely about twice as long as a Karaoke song should be. No one likes to be punished with an 8-minute song unless the person is fantastic. And I am merely enthusiastic. ;)
I don’t know if I can go to karaoke, but I would be happy to have people gather here in at my place in Hazel Park beforehand, perhaps meeting before dinner? If you want to carpool from here to karaoke and stuff.
Doggone it! You schedule a karaoke night in my hometown, but you pick an evening I’ll be in Ypsi??!! *grumble*
*laugh* I didn’t pick the night! That’s the night they do it at that place. I think it’ll be our first time there – if it goes well, we might do it there more often.
Carrie and KT and Jen have been going to a place in Rochester on Monday nights, and it has been a little bit deadly to my sleep to go, so I hope this works out!
Well do let me know if it’s fun and you decide to do it again. I like karaoke, but M can’t stand it, so it’s been awhile!

I so want to see you do TMBG’s The Sun as a thrash metal song. I just think you could really make it work! :)
