Ahh, this was a great lunch. A few people from work went to Honey Bee market in Mexicantown, and they have a grill in back of the deli where they make excellent tacos with beans and rice. It’s definitely the best beef I’ve had in a taco as far as quality goes (I still prefer spicier meat).
I also bought cinnamon chips and a 12-oz glass bottle of coke (made from sugar! imagine that).

A friend of mine made a post recently about wanting to compliment a woman on a train on her eyes, and feeling so awkward about the possibility she might get the wrong idea that he ended up not doing it at all. He considered saying it just as they were parting ways, hoping that would prevent any discomfort. I’m interested in what my own f-list thinks about my comment, so I thought I’d reproduce it here:

okay okay, I’m on twitter now, with the same ID as always.
Unrelatedly, I see there are a ton of people stressing out about things right now. My deepest sympathies, it always seems like all the shitty things happen at once, doesn’t it?

The flight to L.A., while not my first time in First Class, definitely hit the spot (particularly in comparison to my flight back). Extra wide seats, nice meal, and only one person to bother me. :) I got pretty far in Dave’s book The Remembrance (I KNOW! I should have finished it long ago).

Last night I met up with the one and only Woody “3% great” Tunaman. We discovered that we’ve seen a startling number of the same things, particularly on this vast world called the intarweb.
Though I must admit, I’m pretty darned tired, at the moment. It’ll be good to get on the plane so I can nap.
