Sometimes, the best part of a post is in the comments. Penny Arcade put up a comic based on the antics of a knee-jerk blogger accusing Mass Effect (the game) of allowing you any pervy delight you want. Anyway, I saw this in the commentary, and just had to repost:
My favourite part of Ignorant Q. Shitstick’s follow-up article is his statement that America is allowed to censor, unlike Europe (FALSE – Europe has censorship guidelines for television just like the US does), the notion that an America that becomes permissive about sex does so “at its peril.” As an expatriate American who now lives in Europe, I can tell you he is so right – it is Hell-in-a-handbasket time over here. People are eating our babies, having sex with rubbish bins and shooting grain alcohol into our eyeballs. My toddler is being taught the rudiments of sodomy in nursery school. Watch out, America – you’re next!

So, it’s been a pretty long week, but it’s (as in, the auto show) more or less done, beyond a little editing tomorrow morning.
In the evening, I met up with juniper200 and her coworkers at The Firehouse for what is ostensibly a media-only charity event, but is really just an excuse for free beer, food and cigars.
We had some hilarious conversation with various crazy people, including a good ten minutes with a man I’ll simply call Mr. Soggy Cigar. I seriously hope he was drunk, because otherwise he really needs to get that looked at.

Just finished watching the Dodge Ram video. You have done an excellent job on videos Scott. I think the Dodge video is a template for our videos moving forward.
Thanks for the hard work. I know you have a busy schedule next couple of days. Be sure to take some comp time after next week’s World Congress.

Ever since the big rain, I’ve been dealing with what seems suspiciously like intense allergies. itchy, watery eyes, stuffed AND runny nose (my absolute favorite combination), uncontrolled sneezing.
I went to bed at 9:30 last night (9:30! Me!), and in the morning I took my multivitamins, Drixoral, Mucinex DM and an advil. So as you might imagine, right now the whole world is just a touch numb.
I brought me a cherry coke for lunch, though, so that’ll be nice to crack open. Oh! And I just remembered I have water in the fridge here! I’m all about that.
Anyway, I’ve shot 4 videos this week, and have completed two with a third expected finished today (and the 4th, tomorrow). I could shoot as many as SEVEN in the three days following. It’s just going to be… effin’ crazy.
Also, I should warn those of you that have considered growing a ‘stache … blowing your nose is no fun.
I just want to rub my hand absent-mindedly over my hair over and over again… which is generally a sign that I’m either exhausted or high.
